These Flying Bikes, Cars, and Taxis Are The Future Thanks to Hoversurf

Driving on land is so yesterday! Imagine being able to take off the ground, free up and speed up your commute with the wind in your hair, and have an incredible feeling of freedom like no other! Well, flying bikes and cars are becoming a reality thanks to the forward-thinkers at Hoversurf who have created the Hoverbike, the Hover Flying Car, and the Hover drone taxi prototype.

The Hoverbike, which is already being used by the police in Dubai (talk about fending off crime in a futuristic way!) has a “monocoque” frame that is created using different types of carbon fiber technology. Made with a single element, it’s sturdy and solid, yet it’s much lighter than Hoversurf’s previous aluminum model weighing weighs just over 250 pounds. Its pilot seat is ergonomic and suitable for any height. Plus, it has Hoversurf’s impressive new flight computer, which includes an external information display, a tuning system, and updated firmware. Auto-take-off, auto-landing, Alt Hold, Manual, and RC control are also offered. It has anatomical arm-adjustable joysticks with genuine leather covers and laser all-weather LiDAR. The S3 model has a robust triple security system. This includes electronic (emergency landing, sound, and visual warning system, anti-interference screening), mechanical (kill switch), and passive (embedded deformation zones, power fences, and protective elements for the pilot from carbon with reinforcement). Equipped with a Lithium manganese nickel hybrid battery, it has a capacity of 12.3 kWh. This enables you to fly between 10 and 25 minutes or use it in drone mode for up to 40 minutes.

The Hover Flying Car has the dimensions of a regular car. It’s controlled by a digital system and its AI monitors sky safety. It doesn’t have any open propellers and its passengers are located in a protective capsule, or “safety cage,” which absorbs the shock in case of an accident. It also has a digital roll-over protection system. In the event of an emergency, there is a whole aircraft rescue parachute that would gently lower the car and bring its passengers safely to the ground. Its state-of-the-art drone layout – with additional propulsion motors allows it to fly twice as fast as conventional drones – up to 200 k/h flight speed.

Lastly, the Hover drone taxi prototype, or “drones capable of delivering passengers and cargo by air,” is also in the works. It’s being tested and expected to be able to fly in 2023-2025. So, maybe next time you “hail a cab” in the near future, it won’t be a boring land-locked ride anymore!
