Airbus BelugaXL: Beluga Whale-Inspired Plane
This is the most adorable plane by Airbus, the Beluga XL. It’s a massive transport aircraft based on the Airbus A330 airliner that’s powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 700 aircraft engines. The smiley aircraft entered full-time service with Airbus Transport in 2020, to provide Airbus with 30% extra transport capacity. Unfortunately, the Airbus Beluga XL isn’t for passengers and has been specifically designed to transport aircraft components. At a whopping 206-foot-long, and 26-foot-wide, (or “as long as two blue whales put together”) the BelugaXL has the largest cargo bay cross-section of all existing cargo aircraft worldwide.
